The following is a sample of assignments (in alphabetical order) that our consultants have completed:

• Billing Mediation CORBA Simulator
  TelcoPro were actively involved in the TMF Revenue Assurance catalyst that showcased in Nice, May 2005. TelcoPro were responsible for simulating a mediation system producing CDR´s that were forwarded to Metratech´s Billing System, Subex Revenue Assurance system and cVidya Revenue Assurance system. TelcoPro´s mtSim CORBA simulator was used to simulate the billing mediation component.
• Comnitel mSure® Fault Management Southbound Mediation Component
  A TelcoPro consultant was the leading professional services engineer working for Comnitel Technologies performing mediation of the mSure Wireless Fault Management system to support management of GSM/GPRS managed systems. The managed systems included the Nortel OMC-D managing Nortel GPRS equipment, Agilent acceSS7 monitoring Agilent SS7 links, Cisco routers and catalyst switches, and Logica SN and SNSS devices. Designed specifically with the 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile operator in mind, the mSure® solution covers Fault Management, Service Management and subsidiary functionality to offer the complete end-to-end Service Assurance solution. Comnitel have deployed mSure on Ireland´s O2 network.
• Ericsson Hewlett Packard Telecommmunications Fault Management Expert System Feasibility Study and Prototype
  The prototype consisted of a rule language editor and inference engine allowing experts to model their expertise within a knowledge base. The FMX product is a module of Ericsson´s TMOS OSS product suite and is deployed on numerous live networks worldwide.
• Ericsson Broadband Metropolitan Area Network Management System Feasibility Study and Prototype
  Specifying requirements and an information model for a broadband product. Investigated different management standards and standardisation activities (SNMPv1, SNMPv2, CMIP, CORBA, and Java Management API). Feasibility study was successful so requested to prototype the management system for the client.
• Iona Orbix refactoring of product and porting to Solaris
  One of our consultants was employed by Iona to refactor and implement new features in the Orbix 3.3 product line from Orbix 3.0. Duties also included porting the Orbix 3.3 C++ version to Solaris 2.8.
• Lucent Wavestar® EMS Northbound TMF CORBA Interface
  TelcoPro made a significant contribution in the analysis, design, coding, testing and support of components of Lucent´s Wavestar SNMS EMS Northbound TMF CORBA Interface managing Wavestar DWDM, SDH and SONET network equipment. TelcoPro were responsible for the full software life cycle implementation and testing of the TMF Notification Service component of the EMS. Due to the high startup costs and the complexity involved in using existing off-the shelf TMF Simulators TelcoPro were required to implement an inhouse NMS C++ Simulator. The simulator is supplied by Lucent as a development aid to companies interoperating with the EMS TMF Interface. Recommendations made by TelcoPro to Lucent´s representatives in the TeleManagement Forum are included in the latest TMF 814 specification. WaveStar® SNMS provides element management functions as part of the Navis® Optical Management Solutions portfolio of software products. Lucent Wavestar management systems are deployed on live networks such as AT&T, Beijing Telecommunications Administration (BTA) China, Bourgyes Telecom France, British Telecommunications, Deutshe Telekom, Colt UK, Global Crossing, Shandong Telecom China, Suzhou Telecom China, Telia, and numerous others.
• Lucent TCP/IP NMS-EMS Proprietary Interface Implementation
  Implemented and tested a proprietary interface on both sides of Lucent´s Subnetwork Controller Network Management System and ITM-SC EMS. WaveStar® ITM-SC (Integrated Transport Management - Subnetwork Controller) provides element management functions as part of the Navis® Optical Management Solutions portfolio of software products. Lucent Wavestar management systems are deployed on live networks such as AT&T, Beijing Telecommunications Administration (BTA) China, Bourgyes Telecom France, British Telecommunications, Deutshe Telekom, Colt UK, Global Crossing, Shandong Telecom China, Suzhou Telecom China, Telia, and numerous others.
• Lucent GSM OMC Corba Bridge porting from Iona Orbix to TAO
  Tasks included conducting a feasiblity study and porting the client side of a CORBA bridge from OrbixWeb to JacORB and porting the Orbix BOA and POA implementations to TAO.
• Micromuse Netcool® NMS Southbound TMF CORBA Interface
  TelcoPro provided consultancy to support the implementation and interoperability testing of the Netcool® Southbound TMF CORBA Probe. Netcool solutions provide realtime end-to-end visibility and accurate troubleshooting from a business perspective. Such business intelligence allows organizations to respond to problems quickly, streamline workflow processes and improve business uptime. Micromuse customers include AT&T, BT, Cable & Wireless, Charles Schwab, Deutsche Telekom, Digex, EarthLink, GE Appliances, ITC^DeltaCom, J.P. Morgan Chase, T-Mobile and Verizon.
• Web Services (WSDL) Billing interface
  TelcoPro were responsible for integrating Microsoft Biztalk with RateIntegration´s Rating Engine. Key technical issues involved integrating C# with Java and resolving WSDL interoperability issues.
